Watch now (21 mins) | James Graham is a Senior Researcher for Financial Freedoms at the Prosperity Institute, who is currently heading a campaign on the scandal of debanking.
Fantastic interview. Highlighting a major problem. The power of the Banks is enormous and must be controlled by law. Everyone must have a right to open a Bank account. And so should any business. Of course Banks must inform authorities of suspicious trading. But not police it themselves. That’s for the Law to do.
My own thoughts are that Banks cause the economy to be devoid of money and thus we are all underfunded. And as a result so is government underfunded.
By the Banks ability to pick and choose who is entitled to money means that the money others don’t spend so abdicate their responsibility to Spend it back to those who paid them in the first place, instead give it to the Banks to spend it for profit and future profit.
This damming off of our money stops its natural free flow of free money unburdened with debt or future interest. Making us all underfunded by their holding away from our pot that money.
In other words, we are underfunded by them not spending it freely back! Rather than as now, lending it back at further cost to us.
The main reason we save is because we don’t get enough in the first place.
We are all underpaid. We are all worth more. And should be paid more. So there is a real gap over benefits. To show work pays.
But, holding it away from its natural free market free flow of free money being returned to our collective pot, means we are devoid of it and have been for decades. More income to us means more tax take.
Can’t you see Steve, it’s the banks the pension funds and the investment firms who divert our money away from a simple return system to one of damming it for privilege and favour. As your guest highlighted.
We only need one bank. Money should flow freely by SPENDING of the money received in income. Stop allowing our money to be held or diverted away from that free market path.
Take back control of our money. Those who don’t spend it all cause the rest to be devoid of it.
I’m all for earning as much as you can! After all we’re not communists. But where we draw the line is not spending it back once you get it! Keep
Money flowing.
You ask any business you have to have cash flow. Or there is no business.
