Excellent panel discussion

Steve, I did like listening to the panel. It’s an insight into the world of ideas.

Unfortunately I was left somewhat bewildered by the content. It was an array of very different views of the same institute that our governments have had for decades!

I get we need growth. I get you want to cut the government SPENDING. I get you want a free market where entrepreneurs can flourish and earn money to pay taxes that pay for a small state. And I get you advocate deregulation. A free for all on planning and lower taxation and I particularly liked the thought of closing government and just let the people get in with it!

Surely that’s not the best of thinking is it? If it is we are surely doomed!

And the advice that you must tow a party line to do anything when what we really need is bright sparks to think out the box is a contradiction in terms. To fight to have your voice heard in a chamber that is sealed and deaf is not a good place to be in my opinion.

So let me have a go. Maybe my voice can be heard as u think I can do much better than talk in hope and wishes and dreams.

I particularly like the fact the tax payers alliance were pivotal. As I’d like to point out we are ALL bloody tax payers!

The assumption that only done pay tax whilst others pay nothing is an insult to my intelligence. Just by their being a tax payers alliance.

This is the problem. Even those tasked with understanding tax don’t actually grasp its reality!

There are non taxpayers but, they’re not the ones they think!

They think non taxpayers are non workers. The shirkers who take money for free and pay nothing in tax! Well that’s total cobblers!!

Look, even a homeless alcoholic beggar who lies comatose on the village green park bench after begging all day for enough to buy s bottle of whisky just paid 100% of his income on that purchase and pays 73% in Vat and Alcohol Duty on that bottle not to mention the profit for the seller and the supplier and the haulier and the distillery and paid 100% of his revenue towards the cause of a working economy.

Whereas, the flight if millionaires abroad means not only do they NOT o poo at taxes here they can take our money with them and do are unable and unwilling to contribute anything towards our collective revenues or our governments tax revenue if our productive economy.

So look at this for a moment. The taxpayers are everyone from the homeless to this live the life of Riley. But the them and us aren’t taxpayers and non taxpayers. Or workers and non workers. It’s SPENDERS and NON SPENDERS!

These tho SPEND all they’d incomes pay 100% if revenue back to the productive economy. Whilst saying 100% if as much tax as they can. They give their revenue stream to the businesses who pay you! The businesses who pay your wages and more correctly they key the businesses that actually pay your income tax and NIC. ….. it’s not you who pay it! It’s our by the customers and consumers SPENDING in these businesses who contribute revenues to the cause that enable businesses to pay your taxes for you and us.

Despite having ‘income’ in the heading. And despite workers being grid liable if for their taxes. It’s big them who actually pay it! It’s the employers who pay it! From revenues supplied by others SPENDING their incomes that include the unemployed. The unemployable and pensioners and disabled snd those on benefits. That money pays the profits of the businesses in the private sector. Without a public sector having money to SPEND there wouldn’t be much of a private sector. Do let’s get a true understanding if what money does for ALL.

Secondly, GROWTH! What is it and how can It be increased?

Well let’s just consider this. Everyone there wanted it. They all advocated it. But none explained what it is!?

They talk about it like we all know. When they don’t even know. Because if they did, they would know how to get it! So by deduction I assess they haven’t got a clue.

To Rachel Reeves it’s a growth of tax revenue. To an entrepreneur it’s a growth in profits. To a failing business just a growth in revenues would help! To an economists it’s GDP. But none can agree on the figures! lol! And yo an accountant it’s an increasing turnover.

But it’s not they difficult to see what us needed once you appreciate all taxation is as a result of SPENDING.

Do you GROW our economy it takes money. It’s not much of an economy now, do any growth will shut an increase once more money is passed through our productive economy than at present.

Because if we need our economy to grow it needs more SPENDING. So yo SPEND more we obviously need more money than presently in our productive pot.

The more money in our pot and the faster all that money us passed on and rotated around us ALL it stands to reason the more revenues we see that can GROW from now to then!

And as far as our government is concerned more REVENUE in our economy the more TAX REVENUE they can get from that increased turnover!

As Sergei says, “it’s simples!”.

Snd if s meerkat can get it then surely you all can?

The reality is that our economy is underfunded! Which means our wages are underfunded. Which means our ability to SPEND more from less is a ridiculous concept! And that all means that our government is underfunded so it’s unable to fulfil its duties.

And just like years of austerity, I can’t think anything worse than CUTTING more expenditure by us or our government at a time when we obviously need more bloody SPENDING!

Yes our government SPENDS. It is its job to SPEND. And they have definitely failed that job. We have waste everywhere. And still we can’t get a pothole filled! But that’s not the same. We need to cut waste not stop SPENDING.

Our economy is devoid of enough money to pay our way. And our governments way not because the majority aren’t SPENDING. We have to SPEND everything we get! We have no choice. And it’s not because there is insufficient money out there in total. There is approximately £19 trillion pounds out there in the aether.

So if it’s not a jack of money it a lack of us SPENDING then what’s missing?

Well it’s the ALL the vast sums of that £19 trillion pounds that each month go UNSPENT. That’s the portion that’s either NOT contributing to our collective productive economic pot or not being taxed!

There is no tax on UNSPENT money, none!

And our stupid system beans that we can hero money. The very money we need back! Again and again in a perpetual cycle giving us the ability to pay our way.

You cant ever get growth without more if our money being SPENT within our monthly economic pot. If you can’t all see that then I’m afraid we are doomed!
