Fully agree. Thank you for all the work you are all doing to change the status quo.

With the expansion of the state over so many years we have a significant proportion who have come to depend on the government in some way or another who will remain loyal supporters of whichever politician or party is most likely to preserve their government-dependent way of life — no-one votes to burn the bridge they are standing on.

So this is a monumental challenge and very much needs the positivity and winning hearts and minds that you describe.

Thank you! You are certainly right about the dependency support train that will be an obstacle. Ultimately, if we don't alter our path, reality will come for both the state and these people, and simply, the state eventually won't be able to provide them with what they expect. I do think we can win some of these people over and convince them that life is better outside of the big state, but that will require the positivity and enthusiasm that our side can sometimes lack!

I signed up after rewatching the clip on election night where Steve put Balls & Osborne in their place. Well done.

This is one of my favourite interviews Steve has done! Not only does he take them to task for their role in creating the current mess, but then Steve perfectly predicts how this circus of a government would play out.

Thank you so much for your support! Everyone who supports FFF is part of the movement for free markets and freedom. Please follow Steve and me on social media, share our social media and messages, and share the articles in Voices for a Free Future with friends and further.

Similarly, if we have any chance of shifting the terrain of debate and moving the Overton Window, we must make freedom and free markets attractive again; that means all of us must speak in much more positive language around free markets and freedom, and have no shame in proudly expelling their virtues. We must keep telling the story of what they have achieved and can achieve for billions of people to our friends, in debates, in conversations. Positivity is infectious, and we must bring it to every debate we have about our economy and society. I have often been guilty of speaking in both negative and purely technical terms about the economy and our situation. We may be right, but as Leonard Reed wrote, the advancement of liberty is fundamentally a learning problem, not a selling problem. These are immediate changes that we can all make for freedom and free markets. We hope to be able to announce more in the future with our supporters as FFF grows. Thank you again for your support!
