Hi Liam. I didn't realise the extent to which this harassment was taking place. Especially as you point out, there are many households nowadays who quite legitimately do not require a licence.
It's an absolute disgrace & awful to think of the elderly and vulnerable being targeted in this way.

It’s a shame that those of us who pay our licences dutifully are never allowed to see the campaign of intimidation those who don’t are subject to. If more people did, I could only imagine the controversy at something so intolerable.
In my student days, when 50p a day was more than I could reasonably afford, I went out of my way to never fall foul of dear old auntie and tell licensing enforcement that I didn’t need one. Turns out, that declaration only lasts for one year and then the letters continue with the same intensity!
